How can I access Microsoft 365 applications as an Oxnard College Student?

You have two options:

  1. Use a web browser (Edge, Chrome, etc.)
  2. Download and install Microsoft 365 for full access to all tools.

 

Option 1: Accessing Microsoft 365 in a Browser

  1. Open your browser and go to https://www.office.com or search for “Microsoft 365 login.”
  2. Click Sign In (blue button in the center or top-right corner).
  3. Enter your student email with this format: username@students.vcccd.edu (Replace “my” with “students” in your email address.)
  4. Click Next and select Work or School Account when prompted.
  5. You’ll be redirected to the VCCCD portal login page—sign in using your portal password.
  6. Once logged in, you’ll see your Microsoft 365 dashboard with all available apps.

 

Option 2: Downloading Microsoft 365 Applications

  1. Open your browser and search for “Microsoft 365 download.”
  2. Click the first link: Download Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365).
  3. In the middle of the page, select Download Now.
  4. Choose your operating system:
    • Windows
    • macOS
  5. The file will download—this may take a few minutes.
  6. Once downloaded, double-click the file and select Yes to install.
  7. After installation, log in using your student email: username@students.vcccd.edu (Replace “my” with “students” in your email address.)
  8. Follow the prompts and select Yes when asked to sign in to all apps.
