How can I access Microsoft 365 applications as an Oxnard College Student?
You have two options:
- Use a web browser (Edge, Chrome, etc.)
- Download and install Microsoft 365 for full access to all tools.
Option 1: Accessing Microsoft 365 in a Browser
- Open your browser and go to https://www.office.com or search for “Microsoft 365 login.”
- Click Sign In (blue button in the center or top-right corner).
- Enter your student email with this format: username@students.vcccd.edu (Replace “my” with “students” in your email address.)
- Click Next and select Work or School Account when prompted.
- You’ll be redirected to the VCCCD portal login page—sign in using your portal password.
- Once logged in, you’ll see your Microsoft 365 dashboard with all available apps.
Option 2: Downloading Microsoft 365 Applications
- Open your browser and search for “Microsoft 365 download.”
- Click the first link: Download Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365).
- In the middle of the page, select Download Now.
- Choose your operating system:
- Windows
- macOS
- The file will download—this may take a few minutes.
- Once downloaded, double-click the file and select Yes to install.
- After installation, log in using your student email: username@students.vcccd.edu (Replace “my” with “students” in your email address.)
- Follow the prompts and select Yes when asked to sign in to all apps.
